Accountmanager Aux Travel Retail

Do you have a passion for strong brands in liquors & confectionery and have you always wanted to work at a dynamic, international location like Schiphol? Then we have the perfect challenge for you! As an Account Manager, you are the go-to person for our A-brands at Schiphol. You ensure flawless brand activations and keep the sales team motivated to exceed commercial targets.

You’ll work with brands such as Campari, Heineken, Hendrick’s Gin, Bacardi, Jägermeister, Glenfiddich, Belvedere, and more. In close collaboration with Lagardère, our clients, and the Floor Manager, you’ll lead a team of brand ambassadors and sales promoters.

Your responsibilities:

• Coordinate all sales and brand activations at Schiphol (airside).
• Act as primary contact for Lagardère and clients.
• Prepare and execute activations (including training & materials).
• Proactively approach new brands and clients.
• Train, coach, and guide the sales team.
• Be present on the shop floor during activations.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with management on strategy and targets.
• Set up and safeguard schedules and work structures.
• Resolve customer inquiries and continuously improve satisfaction.

About you

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial role (retail/sales).
• Affinity with liquors; solid basic product knowledge is a must.
• Flexible, resilient, and able to work independently.
• Strong organiser and coaching leader.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Data-savvy and target-driven.
• Experience at Schiphol or a comparable high-traffic location is a plus.
